Envisioned as a gateway for a career in Defence Forces, Sainik Schools were set up across the country, with the noble aim of conforming to the highest standards of military ethos and ethics. In order to fulfill the strictest quality parameters at all times, Cadets at Sainik School Etawah are exposed to a multi-pronged career guidance wherein their attributes and strengths are given fillip, their creativity developed and spontaneity nurtured which play a major role in their entry into NDA.
With a rigorous academic programme as its core strength, the cadets under the guidance of an NDA cell are motivated to fine-tune the nuances of military training at various levels. It involves SSB COACHING for cadets by a dedicated team of teachers throughout the year wherein in-depth knowledge in various subjects related to NDA entrance are imparted. Regular practice tests based on NDA pattern question papers are conducted to give the cadets a fair idea about their areas of strengths and weaknesses. With a focus towards helping cadets to face the SSB interview with confidence, cadets receive first–hand experience and expert guidance from expert interviewers with vast experience of past SSB boards. Physical training of cadets at the state-of-the-art obstacle course under the able guidance of PTI’s are conducted to adhere to the strictest physical parameters as required for NDA. With a sense of nationalism, patriotism and pride in the uniform ingrained in a cadet, the school also motivates cadets with pep talks by distinguished alumni of the school. The school also focuses on the all round development of cadets and imparting in them a sense of responsibility towards their society and country.
