This agreement aligns with the Indian government’s New Sainik School (NSS) policy, which instills discipline leadership, dedication, and patriotism among students. The school is committed for nurturing young minds, fostering leadership, and preparing students for a career in the Armed Forces besides any other field they choose.

AIM OF THE SCHOOL
The Main Aim Of The School Is To Prepare The Cadets Academically, Physically And Mentally For Entry Into The Commissioned Ranks Of The Defence Services Through The National Defence Academy.
To Achieve This, The School Provides Comprehensive Education:-
- To Bring Each Cadet To An Educational Standard That Will Enable Him To Complete Successfully In The Open Competition For Admission To The National Defence Academy.
- To Train Each Cadet In A Manner, Which Will Instil In Him Qualities Of Self-reliance And Confidence And Enable Him To Derive Full Benefit From The Courses Of Instruction At The National Defence Academy.
- To Render Cadets Physically Fit To Take Their Place At The N.D.A. And Later To Face With Courage And Endurance The Hardships Inseparable From Life In The Armed Forces.
- To Impart Training To All Cadets So That In Consonance With The National Spirit They Could Conduct Themselves With Confidence In Any Society, And
- To Infuse In All Cadets A Sense Of Loyalty, Patriotism, Individual And Corporate Responsibility For Leading A Purposeful Life As Honest And Useful Citizens Of India.
What is Sainik School?
Sainik School Scheme was launched in 1961 by V.K. Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India for providing a career in the Armed Forces to the wards of a common man.
Sainik Schools are residential schools for boys and girls both imparting quality education with military bias. These are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
The Schools are All India Schools with a common curriculum, system of selections and examinations.
What is new sainik school?
PPP Mode – Under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi
Central Government had approved the initiative of setting up 100 new Sainik schools in partnership with NGO’s Private Schools, and State Governments.
In September 2023 Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved setting up 23 New Sainik Schools under Partnership mode.
